Jagti inmates warn agitation against Govt apathy

JAMMU, Dec 25: Three organizations of the Jagti inmates including Jagti United Front, (JUF) Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) and Relief holders of Jagti have expressed their grave concern over the problems of the people in the township.
The JCC and Jagti United Front in their separate meetings have expressed grave concern over water scarcity, long duration power cuts and delay in supply of ration to the relief holders.
The JCC meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ravi Zutshi who criticized the Government for its apathy towards the migrants especially putting up at Jagti township.
He said in case this attitude continues, all people of the township will be forced to come to streets and launch a massive agitation.
In the meeting of JUF held under the leadership of A K Bali the authorities were taken to task for their apathy towards the migrants of the township and said that besides the power, water and ration problems, the camp inmates were facing various other problems which have not been solved by authorities till date.
The Front which was formed today said that it will announce team in next week and also announced its agitational programme in coordination with other organizations.
The relief holders led by Ajay Bhat also warned agitation incase the problems were not solved and ration supply was not restored to the township immediately.
