JAMMU, Mar 4: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) ETT Colleges launched indefinite dharna with chain hunger strike here this morning in support of their demands of regularization and early exams of the admitted ETT students.
The protestors carrying pla- cards shouted slogans in support of their demands. They demanded removal of J&K Board Chairman and urged the Government to settle the demands.
Addressing the protestors Dr Hari Dutt Shishoo a member of JAC criticized the vested interest based misleading attitude of the BOSE Chairman before the State Government and the Board of Governors for creating confusion in a simple solution to the genuine demand of ETT stakeholders for regularization and early conduct of exams to their admitted students.
He said the prevailing mess like situation with ETT Colleges is being deliberately created by the Chairman BOSE to fulfill his agenda by misleading
The State Government by exploiting regional cards, he added.
S Deep Singh while addressing the protestors said that due to constant degrading academic standards of JK Board and casual attitude of the State Government towards its meaningful monitoring, future of the coming generations is totally at stake. It is the State Government that approves the long illegal deputation of corrupt officers in the prestigious institute of the state i.e BOSE with the result the majority of the state citizens prefers to admit their wards in CBSE schools which is not possible for every one, S Daleep Singh added.
He said the indefinite dharna and chain hunger strike will continue.
