J-K CVC meets Governor N N Vohra

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Vigilance Commissioner Kuldeep Khoda today called on Governor N N Vohra here to discuss the current status of the work being done by the commission.
“Khoda briefed the Governor on the current status of the work being done by the SVC and the special efforts which are being made to enhance the accountability of the administrative system,” an official spokesman said.
The Governor advised the Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) to speed up the processes of the commission to see that the corrupt elements, particularly those occupying senior echelons, are effectively dealt with, if transparency is to be introduced in the functioning of the public institutions, the spokesman said.
