BEML opens office at Leh

BENGALURU: The BEML Limited has opened its District Office at Leh and thus became first Defence Public Sector Company to establish an office at an altitude between 10,500 ft to 22,000 ft. According to a BEML release here today, the ambient temperature varies from (+)25 Degree to (-)35 Degree with presence of oxygen as low at 50% MSL.
Through this Office, BEML will be extending after sales support to its Mining and Construction equipment deployed through DGBR and E-In-C.
The Office was inaugurated by Brig B S Sandhu, Chief Engineer, Himank Project of DGBR. Col Harveer Singh, Officer commanding and Mr Arun Kumar Sharma, Executive Engineer of DGBR, Senior Officials of DGBR Himank and Vijayak Project were present on the occasion. The Marketing Network of BEML comprises of 12 Regional Offices, Four Zonal Service Centres and 17 District Offices including Leh across the Country to extend after sales service support to its customer round-the-clock.
