JAMMU, Apr 25: Indra Vihar Vikas Samiti (IVVS), Janipur delegation led by its president BM Kohli met Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Atul Goel and expressed concern over the recent chain snatching incident in the area.
The delegation requested SSP Jammu for enhancing the patrolling in the locality so as to avoid such happening in future and restore confidence of law and order among the residents.
SSP Jammu gave patient hearing to the deputation and directed the staff to do the needful.
The deputation also met Executive Engineer Electric Maintenance and RE Division Ist Parade and demanded restoring the damaged street lights and providing additional street lights in the dark areas of the locality.
They also met Joint Commissioner JMC for repairing of damaged lane and drains.
Both the officers assured the deputation that the needful will be done.
Among others present were Yog Raj Jalali, general secretary, Vijay Manhas and OP Sharma.
