REASI, Jan 7: Defeating NCC Reasi in an interesting match by 24 runs in the summit clash, ITD Khouri won the title trophy of the Reasi Premier League season-2 T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Sports Club Reasi at Sports Stadium, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, ITD Khouri made a huge total of 171 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. For ITD Khouri, Suryansh scored 59 runs, Ishtiaq scored 49, while Gourav and Sunil chipped in with 18 and 17 runs respectively.
For NCC, Sunil took 4 wickets and Deepak claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, NCC scored 148 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Amit scored 50, Rakesh 20 and Vimoh 39 runs. Zahid took 3 wickets, while Abid and Gourav claimed 2 wickets each. Rakesh was declared as the man of the series, while Suryansh was adjudged as the man of the match.
The winning team was awarded with a cash prize of one lakh along with a trophy, while the runners-up team was presented a cash prize of Rs 50000 along with trophy and mementoes.
MoS Adv Ajay Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
