Issues of Technical Education’s teaching fraternity discussed

JAMMU, Mar 14: J&K Polytechnic Faculty Association (JKPFA) held a meet and discussed issues of teaching fraternity of Technical Education.
Dheeraj Kumar, founding member of JKPFA while speaking in the meeting stressed upon the effective policy for assured carrier progression, time bound promotion, removal of pay anomaly cases and deputation of teaching faculty to industry for technical growth and educational enhancement through higher education.
Harish Chander, Treasurer JKPFA urged upon J&K Government to implement All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) norms for J&K Technical Education Department in a time bound manner.
Shokat Ali, Chief Spokesperson JKPFA said that AICTE had assured to provide 50 per cent financial assistance to the Union Territory of J&K for the implementation of AICTE norms.
K.S Bhatia, Neena Dulloo, Zia Ul Haq Kohli, Deepika Sharma and others were also present in the meeting.
