JAMMU, Jan 18: Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh has forwarded the demands of their J&K colleagues to the President of India as the State is under President Rule.
In a handout, National General Secretary of the Sangh, Rajpal Mahrolia informed that against the 1035 vacancies of Safai Karamcharis in J&K only 912 are working.
He demanded that the remaining vacancies should be immediately fulfilled.
He further said that harassment to Safai Karamcharis who have completed 50 years of age and are in the job since years should be stopped as these employees were asked to produce 10th class passed certificate.
