JAMMU, July 9: President, State Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Thakur Randhir Singh today said that frequent statements by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, are immature, irresponsible and are adding fuel to the fire.
He was addressing the workers during a working committee meeting which was organized to discuss political and social problems of the State.
During the meeting, Krishan Kumar Digra, vice president State NCP and R S Billowaria, chief spokesman, challenged Omar Abdullah for his statement in which he condemned the Mufti Government for amending the Panchayati Raj Act.
“It is unfortunate that Omar Abdullah has forgotten the history and claimed that the Shiekh Abdullah was the first Chief Minister who introduced Panchayati Raj in J&K before any place in the world what to speak of India”, they said and added that after losing power Omar Abdullah is standing with separatists.
