UDHAMPUR, Apr 13: Senior leader of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) from Udhampur, Som Nath addressed various public meetings here today and urged people to vote for Congress candidate from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda constituency, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Addressing the gathering at various locations of the tehsil Chenani including Tandar, Naglota, Sarori, Tanas, Chajj, Pattan Garh, Kambal Danga and Laddan Power House here today, the INTUC leader said some parties are misguiding the people about the achievements of Ghulam Nabi Azad as Chief Minister of the State and as Union Health Minister.
Seeking votes for Azad, Nath said maximum development in the State took place during the tenure of Azad, which till date has remained matchless.
He urged the people not to fall prey to divisive forces, who are hell bent to divide the people on the name of religion and appealed them to vote for Azad wholeheartedly and send him in the Parliament so that he may continue supporting the people of the State.
