JAMMU, May 5: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) has urged the government to introduce Punjabi as a subject in schools and colleges and provide job opportunities to Sikh community youth as per their population proportion in J&K.
In a meeting here today chaired by Ch. Gharu Ram, former Minister and president Jammu Central Zone in presence of former Legislator, vice president Jammu province and Member of Working Committee DPAP, Ashok Sharma it was unanimously resolved to support DPAP candidate from Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat, Mohd Saleem Parray under the leadership of former Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The participants in the meeting urged upon the people of Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat to vote and support DPAP candidate.
Prominent among those who participated in the meeting were Zonal VP, Kamalpreet Singh; Surinder Singh Shindi, Phinder Singh, Raftaj Singh, Harvinder Singh, Joginder Singh and Baldev Singh.
