SRINAGAR, May 5: Security forces today arrested two militant associates along with arms and ammunition in Imamsahib area of Shopian district.
A police spokesman that a joint team of Police and 34 RR Army during cordon and search operation arrested two hard core Over Ground Workers.

From their possession one pistol, two grenades, and eight rounds of pistol were recovered.
The arrested persons have been identified as Zaffar Azad Ganie son of Mohd Azad Ganie and Amir Ahmad son of Zahoor Ahmad Mir, both residents of Motjan Shopian, the officer added.
