Intensify work on development projects in Ramnagar: Pathania

UDHAMPUR, Feb 5: Ranbir Singh Pathania, former MLA and spokesperson, J&K BJP, called upon the Government and local administration to spur up execution work on various public utility works and projects sanctioned long back but on account of some dilly-dally reasons, they are still to be accomplished.
While addressing monthly meeting of party cadres at Townhall Ramnagar and a series of public outreach camps at Mottu, Rang, Plassan, Kirmoo and Daliya, Pathania called for qualitative and time bound completion of various road projects which included Panchound to Chapper, Plasssan to Rang, Daler Morh to Amroh, Tagan -Sattian road, Gaghote-Dalsar road, Ramnagar-Dudu road, Thial-Chountra Mata road, a score of halfway left water supply schemes i.e WSS Baryalta Sartedi, WSS Nakki, WSS Prey Badhaal, WSS Puji Mata, many irrigation canals, schools, hospital buildings.
Although sanctioned amount is available for these works, the same are hanging for one reason or the other, he added.
Pathania further cited case of Kogha to Pinger road where the Forests Department has unnecessarily stalled execution of work. He further recalled that during his tenure as MLA he has got sanctioned two degree colleges but the construction work of buildings is yet to take place and the students are forced to sit in open or make shift arrangements. He also reiterated the need of filling staff shortage in GHSS G.S Banj, GHSS Garh Dhamma, GHSS Rasli Gadheran, GHSS Basantgarh, GHS Bainsta, GHS Pinger, GHS Chigla Balota, GHS Joffer and various other schools.
He informed that the process for establishment of Kendriya Vidalya at Ramnagar has been initiated. Just like Model Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar, HSS Basantgarh,HSS Chanunta and HSS Majalta will be developed as institutes par excellence. He said that three State of Art girls hostels are coming up at Ramnagar, Chowki and GS Banj.
Pathania said that due to the acts and omissions of Government officers and political functionaries the work on University Campus at Ramnagar was stalled but will be taken up soon as he has taken up the matter with highest authorities.
Furthermore he said that ITI at Ramnagar is likely to come up soon and work on KVK at Marta will also be taken up in shortest possible time. He said that State of Art Multipurpose Stadium is completed at Ramnagar which provides opportunities to the youth who are well talented but lack requisite opportunities and infrastructure.
