JAMMU, June 25: Rajputs residents of Sainik Colony, Jammu, have demanded installation of statue of late Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji at Kunjwani Rotary, here.
A deputation of Rajput residents of Sainik Colony, Jammu, today met with president of Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Narayan Singh, here today and discussed in detail the progress over installation of statue of Late Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji at Kunjwani Rotary.
The president of the Sabha informed the deputation that a resolution stood passed by public also at Jia Pota on June 16, 2013 in the presence of MP Chowdhery Lal Singh, MP Madan Lal Sharma and Minister for Irrigation and PHE, Sham Lal Sharma, in which it was announced that a suitable statue of Maharaj Gulab Singh would be installed at Kunjwani Rotary.
The deputation was also apprised of the activities of the Sabha.
