KATHUA, Nov 10: A middle aged man who was hit by some unknown vehicle and was lying in an injured condition at Saiswan More near Chadwal More in Kathua district yesterday morning breathed his last at GMC late last night.
According to police a middle aged man was found in an injured condition at Saiswan More this morning and he was shifted to Hiranagar Hospital for treatment by the Police where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu as he had received grievous injuries on his person and suffered a heavy blood loss.
Despite the best efforts of doctors at GMC they failed to save his life and the patient succumbed to his injuries in the afternoon.
The identity of the body has not been known as yet as nobody approached the police in this regard. Hira Nagar Police has registered a case under Section 174. The vehicle which hit the person has also not been located so far.
