Industrial Units contributing in fight against Corona

JAMMU, Oct 1: The Industries & Commerce Department has been mobilizing the industrial units to come forward and contribute in fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Many industrial units have distributed sanitizer, masks and gloves for frontline COVID warriors like doctors, nurses and paramedical staff.
Their activities also include making arrangements for food for workers and labourers in industrial areas. Continuing their support in fight against the pandemic a leading export oriented unit of Jammu, M/s VKC Nuts Private Ltd contributed a sum of Rs 5 lakh towards PM CARES wherein the cheque of the said amount was presented to Anoo Malhotra by the Managing Director of the Company, Gagan Jain.
A handout stated that the monetary contributions made by the industrial units in J&K Relief Fund and PM CARES have crossed Rs 60 lakh mark.
Malhotra appreciated the efforts of the Industry in standing with the government in this hour of need and appealed other units too to follow the suit of M/s VKC Nuts and make generous contributions towards PM CARES and J&K Relief Fund.
