India achieved eminent position at international level: Khanna

JAMMU, Mar 6: Member of Parliament (MP), BJP National Vice-President, Chief Whip in Rajya Sabha and J&K Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna said that today India has achieved a very eminent position at international level and the credit for the same goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Being an Indian is today considered as a symbol of pride for every citizen, even the Indians settled abroad are appreciating what Narendra Modi has done during two years while heading Government at the centre”, Khanna said while chairing a meeting of State office bearers and asked the party leaders to reach the masses and highlight various developmental and welfare schemes launched by Modi. He said corruption has been wiped out and total transparency is maintained in the governance, which itself is a major achievement.
State President BJP Sat Sharma, former Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of BJP Legislative Party Dr Nirmal Singh, MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, MLC Ashok Khajuria, State Office bearers Yudhvir Sethi, Mamta Singh, Parmod Kapahi, Karan Singh, Rajni Sethi, Bharat Bhushan, Dr Drakshan Andrabi, Ashok Koul, Dr Narinder Singh, besides many others attended the meet.
Khanna also asked these leaders to put more efforts in view of the ULB and Panchayat elections and said that the BJP has to once again write history in these elections.
Sat Sharma said that besides taking effective steps for benefit of the poor, women, farmers, ex-servicemen, border people, strong message has been sent that no anti-national activity will be tolerated. He said that although two years period is less for bringing a change but still PM Modi has worked round the clock to ensure that more and more schemes and projects are launched for bringing progress and prosperity and it is visible that an era of development has started across the country.
Dr Nirmal Singh said that today the country is at a turning point where Modi has succeeded in convincing Pakistan that it is involved in activities of terrorism and separatism in India and need to book the culprits hiding on its soil. He said that it is only due to the efforts of Narendra Modi that Yoga has been adopted globally and endorsed even by UN.
“A huge package of Rs 80 lakh crores displays Modi’s concern for Jammu and Kashmir”, Dr Singh said and added that massive funding from the centre will result into overall development and bring economic upliftment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
