JAMMU, July 1: A large number of people attended the India 4 Kashmir conclave held at Pune, Maharashtra in which all Indians were appealed to work towards one nation movement to reclaim the lost ground and rehabilitation of common Indians in Kashmir with dignity and honour.
The India 4 Kashmir is a Pan -India movement to highlight and set the right narrative about the Kashmir problem. It believes that every Indian is a stake holder in Kashmir and every Indian must proclaim the right of the same. The movement further demanded the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A from the State which will pave the way for true integration of J&K with the country. It also supported creation of a separate homeland for Kashmiri Hindus in Valley.
Among its other demands included restoration of temples in the Valley that have been burnt and illegally occupied by terrorists and land mafia.
The India 4 Kashmir conclave was powered by Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora. It started with welcome address by Rohit Kachroo. The key note address was delivered by Moti Koul, chairman GKPC. He informed that the present Government is very serious about setting the order right in the Valley and bringing to book the culprits of Hindu massacre in Kashmir.
The next session was conducted on Accession & Roots of Terrorism in Kashmir by Padamsherre Prof K N Pandita who spoke about the global Islamic fundamentalist support and aid to Kashmiri insurgency.
Meenakshi Sharan a promoter of Indian crafts made a presentation on history of Kashmir. The third session was about the desecration of temples in Kashmir and India. While presenting data on the topic Rati Hedge a well known author appealed the GoI to restore such temples across the country.
Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Hangloo founder and director of Radio Sharda 90.4 FM said the channel run form Jammu promotes Kashmir culture, art and language. The session was presided over by Shefali Vaidya a prominent writer.
Ashok Pandit a renowned film maker also spoke and said that Kashmiri politicians are best actors in the world. The prominent personalities who presided over second session included spiritual Guru Sadhguru, Dr Charudata Pingle and advocate Vibhor Anand.
