Imran Khan’s ex-wife’s car attacked

Islamabad, Jan 3: Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Imran Khan, Reham Khan, his ex-wife and a journalist of British-Pakistan origin, on Monday said the “New Pakistan” has become a land of ?cowards, thugs? under the current regime as her “vehicle was held at gunpoint” when she was coming back from a wedding on Sunday night.
She said in a tweet: “On the way back from my nephew’s marriage my car just got fired at & two men on a motorbike held vehicle at gunpoint!! I had just changed vehicles.”
“My PS and driver were in the car. This is Imran Khan’s New Pakistan? Welcome to the state of cowards, thugs and the greedy!!”
In a follow-up tweet posted hours later, she said: “It’s 9 am My PS & team has not had a minute of sleep and the FIR still has not been registered in Shams Colony Police Station Islamabad. Investigation is ongoing. Waiting for a copy of the FIR.”
“Imagine how slow the procedure is. We have all been awake all night and they are questioning a shaken up victim instead,” she added.
In 2018, the journalist had released an autobiography making several allegations against Imran Khan. The couple had tied knots in 2015 but the marriage ended in the same year.
