Implementation of Mandal Commission report demanded

JAMMU, Oct 4: Apni Party’s State Coordinator of OBC Wing, Madan Lal Chalotra has demanded implementation of Mandal Commission Report and enhancement of OBC reservation to 27 per cent in favour of OBC in J&K.
Addressing a press conference here today, Chalotra said that Union Home Minister, Amit Shah is on J&K tour and OBC people expect that he should announce 27 per cent reservation in their favour which is their long pending demand.
He also demanded removal of creamy layer stigma for issuing certificates of OBCs and said that eligible members of OBC must be given opportunity in the High Court.
Demand to appoint two Advisors to J&K LG from OBCs was also raised along with the demand of political reservation to OBCs in all the democratic sectors from Panchayat to Parliament.
