Implement Food Security Act in J&K: Mula Ram

Jammu, Aug 29: Former Minister and Senior Congress leader Mula Ram addressed well attended public meetings at Barn in Bhalwal block and asked people to strengthen Congress Party.
Speaking on the occasion Mula Ram demanded implementation of Food Security Act in Jammu and Kashmir, regularization of daily wagers and five marlas plots to each family of border area residents at safer places.
He also highlighted local demands like construction of Kangrail-Rati Chhapri road, construction of bridge over Ranbir Canal near Irrigation Chowkidar Hut at Simbalyala, repair of road from Kangrail to Barn, laying of crates and channelization of nallah from Seri-Panditan to Ranbir Canal, development of the cloudburst affected area at Kangrail and uninterrupted power supply etc.
Organizing secretary JKPCC Sodagar Singh who was also accompanied Mula Ram, while speaking stressed the need to strengthen the Congress party at all levels. He said that Congress is only secular national party which represent each and every section of the society. He said that some political parties had made castles on false foundation and they put every effort to befool people for their political interests, such castles will fall soon. Congress party has been concerned about the problems of common people, he added.
He appealed to the people especially to youth to strengthen the hands of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Vice President Rahul Gandhi and PCC chief Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz for the peace, progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
