JAMMU, Oct 16: In a bid to eradicate Corona from District Jail Ambphalla Jammu, the Prison Authorities are conducting testing and retesting of both positive and negative tested inmates so that pandemic is attended effectively.
In a novel way, it is the instituion of District Jail Jammu wherein the authorities are regularly conducting musical evening/ music therapy for COVID patients to boost their morale and to de-stress them to cope up with the anxiety related to the problem.
These prisoners are given protein rich food vitamins and other allied medical diet in addition to the SOP related items like face masks, sanitizers, washing soap, bathing soap, and lukewarm water etc. on the directions of DGP, Prisons V K Singh.
Today District Legal Services Authority Jammu in coordination with Ayush (ISM) and Prison authorities organized awareness camp wherein immunity booster medicines were distributed among all the prison population including the COVID positives.
Ten oximeters have been provided by the CMO Jammu. In all, no COVID positive inmate is symptomatic and even comorbid inmates are stable and asymptomatic. A separate block has been earmarked for Corona positive prisoners to isolate them from the rest and also to take special care of them.
