JAMMU, Nov 25: Satwari police seized illicit liquor pouches on dry day.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Satwari police station laid a naka and intercepted an auto.
During checking, police recovered 25 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle. The driver managed to escape taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under FIR Number 256/ 15 has been registered at Satwari police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the auto driver.
Police team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh seized the illicit liquor under the supervision of SDPO South Sachin Gupta, SP South Shaazad Salaria and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
