KATHUA, Feb 27: The district administration, Kathua launched anti encroachment drive during the late night in the town and dismantled number of the illegal structures raised in front of the shops on footpath.

A joint team of officers on the directives of DC, Kathua Rohit Khajuria launched the drive.
The team was led by ACR Jatinder Misra, Tehsildar Avtar Singh , DySP SS Sambyal , CEO Municipal Council, Sanjeev Gandotra, etc and they were accompanied by a police force.
The drive was started from DC office road to Shaheedi Chowk, Kathua. The JCB was put on job and it removed numbers of the illegal structures raised by shop keepers in front of their shops.
It may be recalled that the Kathua district administration on the directives of Khajuria has launched a special drive to remove the encroachment from Kathua town.
