IIM Jammu inks MoU with Institute of Cost Accountants of India

JAMMU, Sept 18: : Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
The pact is aimed at achieving the excellence in academics and research by both the partner institutes.
The MoU was signed by Prof B S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu and CMA Balwinder Singh, President, Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
CMA B.B. Goyal, Former Additional Chief Advisor (Cost), Government of India was the invited guest speaker.
Other dignitaries included CMA. Biswarup Basu, Vice President, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Prof. Manoj Kumar, Finance and Accounting, IIM Jammu, CMA Chittaranjan Chattopadhyay, Chairman, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Committee, Dr. Muqbil Burhan, Chairperson, Executive Education, IIM Jammu and CMA Vijender Sharma, Chairman Professional Development & CPD Committee.
The prime areas of importance in the MoU signed were the development programmes and exchange of academic knowledge along with other matter of mutual interests
IIM Jammu believes that it is important for aspiring business students to gain exposure to the best minds of the field. To facilitate this, IIM Jammu has been making successful attempts of extending academic collaborations with various esteemed institutions.
