JAMMU, Feb 3: In order to felicitate officers of Jammu Province on account of outstanding work done during the year -2019 on different fronts, a function was organized by Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu here today in order to encourage them and award them.
The best performers were awarded with “Appreciation Certificate” for their performance in different fields including disposal of cases, disposal of cases related to NDPS and recovery of contraband drugs, bovine smuggling, good work done on anti militancy front, maintenance of law and order, best innovative ideas, on account of data entry in CCTNs and programme organized under CAP.
On account of best performance in NDPS cases and recovered of huge quantity of contraband drugs, Best District Award was given to District Jammu, while for strict action against bovine smuggling, Best District Award was given to District Jammu and District Udhampur.
For best disposal of cases, Best District Award was given to District Ramban and District Doda, while for outstanding performance in connection with arrest of absconders, Best District Award was given to District Kathua and District Doda.
On the basis of various programmes organized under Civic Action programme, Best District Award was given to District Rajouri and District Jammu, while for outstanding work on anti militancy front, Best District Award was given to District Kishtwar.
For outstanding work on account of data entry in CCTNs, Best District Award was given to District Udhampur, while on account of disposal of cases, Best Police Station Awards was given to Police Station Ramban (Urban) and Police Station Kalakote (Rural) Rajouri.
For maintenance of record/best upkeep of Police Station, Best Police Station Award was given to Police Station Gandhi Nagar of District Jammu and Police Station Sunderbani of District Rajouri.
For outstanding performance in connection with disposal of cases related to NDPS and recovery of contraband drugs, Best Police Station Award was given to Police Station Udhampur, while for showing professional/exemplary skills in investigation of case FIR No.38/2019 U/S 8/21/22/27-A, 29 NDPS Act, and 13, 16, 17, 21 UAPA related to NDPS/Militancy, Best Police Station Award was given to Police Station City of District Jammu.
IGP Mukesh Singh while appreciating these police officers said J&K Police is proud of them who have displayed excellent team work and dedication towards duties.
