JAMMU, Apr 25: IGNOU Study Centre 1287D organized an awareness camp for rural youths in its adopted village Salehar in RS Pura sector.
The camp was organized under the guidance of Regional Director, IGNOU, KK Bhat. The IGNOU launched the campaign in village Salehar for higher education and covered 100% people for higher education in the year 2015.
The Coordinator of the Centre, Keshav, while delivering lecture on the occasion said that the IGNOU is the largest university in the Country and giving the service to the students at the door steps through its Study Centres.
Chander Bhushan, Chairman of the Centre, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Salehar, Kura Ram, vice-principal, DK Raina and many others also spoke on the occasion.
