Reasi, Mar 4: Some workers engaged by Ifcon construction company for building highest Railway Bridge at Bakkal , were allegedly thrown out from the job for demanding overtime charges.
While talking to media persons at Reasi, the aggrieved workers claimed that they were forced to quit the job without payment of their overtime work. Initially four workers, two locals and two from Punjab, were thrown out of the job and later 16 more workers left the work in support of the demand for payment against overtime, they explained.
On reaching Reasi, locals BJP leader Raghav Krishan Kesar and others arranged for stay of the aggrieved workers.
