IETE Jammu Centre organizes online expert talk on WT&IS Day

JAMMU, May 17: IETE Jammu Centre organized an online expert talk and interaction on the occasion of World Telecommunication & Information Society Day on Sunday.
Dr Dhananjya S Dongre, a renowned doctor and expert on mantras, joined from Mumbai and delivered a talk on the theme ‘Science of Mantras’. He demonstrated the effect of mantras on aura and five elements. He said that mantras show immediate effect if pronounced correctly. He also conveyed that a workshop shall be organized at Jammu in the near future for the welfare of the citizens of this region. Dr Dongre emphasized that using ICT, the effect of mantras can be transferred to remote location simultaneously to treat multiple patients having same disorders.
Prof Pawanesh Abrol, Secretary IETE Jammu Centre, said that WT&IS Day is celebrated to mark the foundation of ITU on 17th May 1865 when the first International Telegraph Convention was signed in Paris. “This year, the theme is Connect 2030: ICTs for the Sustainable Development Goals. ICT has allowed billions of people around the world to connect especially during theses Covid-19 pandemic times to accelerate social, economic and environmentally sustainable growth and inclusive development for everyone,” he said.
Prof Parveen Kumar Lehana, Head, Department of Electronics, Jammu University and Chairman IETE Jammu Centre, explained the bases of mantras using five elements by reciting some mantras from Rigveda.
