JAMMU, May 6: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu has suspended an Incharge Police Post here today.
As per police sources, In-charge Police Post Pouni Chak SI Thakur Dutt Sharma was suspended by the SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh on a complaint regarding some departmental matter.
However, sources said that the cop was suspended following delay in registration of NDPS Act case to be registered against a person identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Dev Raj, who was arrested along with drugs.
‘Sharma has been suspended and it is a departmental issue’, sources said, adding that the investigation is going on.
