ICF organises ‘Lok Virsa Mansar Rang’

Jammu, Dec 27: Indian Cultural Forum organized a programme “Lok Virsa Mansar Rang” a musical and poetic meet at the bank of Lake Mansar in which prominent poets of different languages and singers from different districts of the State like Udhampur, Kathua, Samba, Jammu and Rajouri performed their respective talents.
Thousands of the people thronged the venue to enjoy this heritage event. The presidium was shared by Professor Lalit Mangotra, Advocate H C Jalmeria, Poet Sita Ram Sapolia, Poet Gyaneshwar Sharma, Poet K K Shakir, Social Worker Kuldeep Gupta Vijaypur and social worker Vinay Kumar Sharma Supwal.
President and director of the forum Sham Sajan said that forum will organize such programmes in rural areas under heritage series because rural masses are demanding such programmes.
Professor Lalit Mangotra Chief Patron of Indian Cultural Forum in his welcome address highlighted the policies and modus operandi of the Forum and emphasized that such programmes shall be organized at large scale in rural areas. He urged poets and artists to come forward voluntarily.
The poets who participated in the meet were Sita Ram Sapolia, K.K Shakir, Gyaneshwar Sharma, Tara Chand Kalaandari, Mohan Singh, Vijaya Thakur, Usha Kiran Kiran, Dr. Chanchal Bhaseen, Anila Singh Charak, Ashok Ambar, Kuldeep Kippi, Balwan Singh Jamorhia, Bishan Singh Dardi, C.S Katal, Surjit Hosh Badsali, Pyasa Anjum, Deepak Aarsi, Parveiz Malik, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Sushil Begana, Manzoor Ahmed Janjua, Suraj Rattan Bakshi, Rafeeq Hussain and Pawan Billawari.
The Singers who performed are Manju Bala, Apoorva Jamwal, Karan Malhotra, Bhooma Khajuria, Rabjot Singh, Shyam Manyal, Gursharan Kour, Karan Dev Singh, Virender Kapadia, C.S Katal, Dr Kewal Samnotra & Sham Sajan.
Raj Kumar Behrupia anchored the programme in a very impressive way. Chander Dharmatt delivered vote of thanks which was followed by a Dogra Cuisine Preeti Bhoj. The local people thanked Indian Cultural Forum for such grand show.
