LEH, Jan 17: An Ice Hockey match was played today between District Police Leh and Canadian team on Police Ice Hockey Rink in Leh.
Canadian team defeated District Police Leh and won the match by 7-5. Deputy High Commissioner Canada, Suyong Park who was chief guest on the occasion appreciated the role of Leh Police in imparting free Ice Hockey coaching to the poor and disabled children and in promoting the game of Ice Hockey in Ladakh.
Later, the Deputy High Commissioner met several representatives of villages and assured all possible assistance from Canadian Government in providing equipments and coaching in Ice Hockey.
