JAMMU, Mar 1: J&K Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducted an orientation programme for the students of Chartered Accountancy at Jammu.
The purpose of this orientation programme was to prepare students for undergoing three years articleship training.
Vikram Garg, Chairman of the branch welcomed the students and emphasized that the importance of articleship training is at par with the theoretical knowledge. He suggested that each and every student should inculcate craving for in depth learning.
He also suggested the importance of this platform of orientation course for interaction amongst fellow students.
Loveneesh Kapoor was the faculty for the program who dwelt on the topics of overall personality development, team building exercises, group discussions, presentation skills, motivation techniques, conversation skills and understanding the business environment.
A large number of CA students participated in the orientation programme.
Later on, upon conclusion of the programme, participation certificates were distributed to the students.
Shalay Razdan, secretary, Anil Sharma, treasurer and Deepak Kapahi, Executive Member were also present.
