Jammu, Mar 10: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) held a seminar jointly with National Foundation for Corporate Governance on the Topic Corporate Governance and IFRS.
The programme was organised by the Jammu -Srinagar Chapter of Cost Accountants, Jammu yesterday. Rajesh K Sharma, Chairman of the Chapter addressed the programme.
Dr S K Gupta, Director (Technical) from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, New Delhi was the speaker on this occasion. Mr Gupta explained the Concept of Corporate Governance and IFRS. M Sadagopan, Sr Manager (Finance), NHPC Ltd Region Jammu welcomed the delegates and gave overview of the topic and interlinks between corporate governance and IFRS. The programme was Co sponsored by SBI, Jammu region, NHPC ltd Jammu region and power GRID.
The seminar was attended by the delegates from the Costing Accounting and Finance profession serving in different Companies, Corporations, Banks and practising Cost Accountants. Chand ji Tiku, AGM State Bank of India and member of chapter had concluded the programme and Pawan Kumar Executive member of Chapter proposed the vote of thanks.
