Hyundai India December domestic sales down by 9.8 pc

MUMBAI, Jan 1: South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has registered a 9.8 per cent decline in domestic sales for the month of December 2019 at 37953 units, as comapred with 42,093 units sold in the same month a year ago.
Exports in the month under review fell by 10.06 per cent to 12,182 units, as compared with 13,545 units sold in same month a year ago.
Total sales went down by 9.9 per cent to 50,135 units during the month, company sold 55,638 units in December 2018.
While in the calendar year 2019, the company posted a decline of 2.6 per cent in overall sales (domestic and exports) at 6,91,460 units.
