SAMBA, Oct 25: A villager and his wife set them selves on fire after a quarrel between them at Sumb village in district Samba last night.
A police spokesman said that Rumal Singh and his wife Sushma Devi had some quarrel over a domestic affair during last night. The woman in a fit of anger, poured kerosene oil on her and made immolation bid. Rumal Singh also followed her and made immolation attempt.
Both were rescued by other family members and neighbours and then shifted to Samba hospital with at least 50- 60 % burn injuries. Later, they were referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police registered a case against them and started investigation.
