JAMMU, Jan 30: Miran Sahib Police arrested three persons including husband of a lady in rape case.
As per police sources, a man identified as Swaran Singh of Link Road Simbal Camp compelled her wife to have illicit relations with three of his friends identified as Gurmeet Singh, Harvinder Singh and Hardeev Singh on several occasions.
“Swaran Singh use to threaten her wife with country made pistol and force her to have illicit relations with his aforesaid friends”, sources added.
After finding a loop hole, the lady escaped from the clutches of her husband and narrated the whole matter to police.
Acting over the compliant, a case under FIR Number 16/2020 under sections 376, 109 and 323 IPC has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and hunt was launched to nab the accused including lady’s husband.
On specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station led by SHO SI Gurpal Singh conducted raid and apprehended Swaran Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Harvinder Singh, while one of the accused Hardeev Singh is still at large and hunt is going on to nab him.
Police team also recovered 2 country made pistols with which Swaran Singh used to threaten her wife.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
