JAMMU, Nov 1: The House Rent Allowance (HRA) to the Government employees of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir shall be payable in the revised pay structure with effect from July 1, 2021.
By the order of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, a notification in this regard was issued today by the Finance Department of J&K Government, according to which, the HRA shall be payable as per classification notified by the Central Government.
As per Central Government classification, HRA for the capital cities Jammu and Srinagar (Y Class Cities) shall be 18 percent of Basic Pay while for other places (Z Class locations), the HRA shall be 9 percent of Basic Pay.
