JAMMU, Aug 10: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) POL Depot, Jammu organized a voluntary blood donation camp in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu, Blood Transfusion Department, Government Medical College, J&K State Aids Control Society, Jammu at Red Cross Sarai, here at Maheshpura Chowk.
Manish Tandon, Chief Regional Manager of HPCL, Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion who inaugurated the camp.
RC Puri, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu, delivered a motivational lecture on the importance of voluntary blood donation and appealed the public at large particularly the youth to come forward for this noble cause in order to save the precious human lives by donating blood voluntarily.
About 50 officials of the HPCL donated their blood voluntarily.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Akhil Gupta, Senior Operations Officer, HPCL POL Depot, Jammu and Navneet Kour, Member, Executive Committee of IRCS, Jammu.
