SAMBA, Sept 11: All the house hold items and a motorcycle perished in a fire which broke out in a residential house in village Daboh in district Samba, today.
As per reports, the fire broke out this afternoon in the residential house of Chet Ram, son of Madan Lal in village Daboh. The cause of fire was reported short circuit. As the villagers saw the flames and smoke coming out of house they rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire by sprinkling water though buckets and mud over it. However the fire was not controlled and flames continued to rise. The people contacted Fire Brigade personnel in Samba which reached the spot after getting the information. But till that all the house hold items and a motor cycle perished in the fire. The Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter.
