POONCH, Mar 12: A tripper storey house caught fire at Wand Tantrian, Rehman Nagar area of Loran in tehsil Mandi, here this morning.
Even as there was no loss of life or injuries to the family members, a major portion of the wooden house was completely gutted in the fire. Blazes were controlled by the Fire Brigade, which rushed its vehicles from Mandi after getting information about the fire incident.
Reports said that electric short circuit apparently caused fire, which soon engulfed top storey of the house, owned by one Ali Mohd Tantray. Locals joined the Fire Brigade in extinguishing the fire and it took more than an hour to control the blazes. Exact loss of the property in the mishap was not yet ascertained.
