JAMMU, Mar 27: During the ongoing agitation over hike in hostel fee, the activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today met one of the members of the recommendation committee constituted to look into the matter by the University of Jammu Vice Chancellor Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar.
The activists led by Jammu University president of ABVP Ashwani Sharma met Associate Dean who is also a member of recommendation committee on fee hike.
While speaking, Ashwani Sharma told Associate Dean that the ABVP will continue peaceful protest till the recommendation committee constituted to look into the hostel fee matter will give its recommendations.
“If the committee does not recommend for roll back of the hostel fee, then the ABVP will intensify protest and for any untoward incident the Varsity administration will be responsible”, Sharma warned.
Among others present were Gagan, Binny, Vishal, Bhavishya, Vikas, Ranbir, Kulbir, Nikhil, etc.
