JAMMU, May 10: Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi is visiting Srinagar tomorrow for high-level review of security situation in the Kashmir valley, which has witnessed spurt in incidents of militancy and protests.
Sources said top officers of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs would accompany Mehrishi during his visit to summer capital of the State.
Mehrishi would chair meeting of top officers of civil and police administration, para-military and Intelligence officials for assessment of the situation and steps required to tackle militancy and control unrest.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh would review Kashmir situation in New Delhi on the return of Mehrishi to the Union capital.
