Homage paid to Shaheed Amar Nath

DODA, June 2: Shaheed Bhagat Amar Nath Memorial Society paid homage to Amar Nath Bhagat on his 47th Shaheed Divas here at new community hall.
A huge gathering comprising people from Chenab valley and delegates from all over the State gathered to paid floral tribute to Shaheed Amar Nath Bhagat. The function was presided over by Girdhari Lal Bhagat, chairman of the society while Dr Dinesh Parmer, former Minister from Gujarat was the chief guest.
While addressing the gathering, president, JKRCEA Chenab valley, Joginder Singh Rai highlighted the historic role played by Shaheed Amar Nath Bhagat towards the society as a social reformer. The son of the soil attained Martyrdom on June 1, 1970.
Dr Dinesh Parmer, former Minister of Gujarat, said irrespective of the party politics all reserved categories have to come forward on a single platform to get the provisions of reservation in promotion restored.
