Hold Assembly elections immediately: Babu Singh

JAMMU, June 4: The Nature Mankind Friendly Global Movement Party, president and ex Minister, Jatinder Singh @ Babu Singh has demanded holding of the Assembly elections before the term of President rule ends in June.
Talking to reporters here, today Babu Singh said that holding of Assembly elections in the State has become mandatory and people have every right to elect the Government of their own choice. The Governor rule or President rule is time being arrangement to run the Government when the ruling party fails to continue.
He said the need of hour is to announce the Assembly elections as Lok Sabha elections have been successfully completed. He also demanded starting of dialogue with stake holders to solve the Kashmir issue amicably. He said the violence and militancy is no solution to the Kashmir issue and permanent solution is needed for the better future of State. He added that disturbance can be contained with muscle power or other means for a temporary period.
The Kashmir issue is not related to military or security reason, or law and order problem. He said it’s a political issue and should be solved in political way with wisdom and political spirit. He said the Kashmir issue was started before 1947 and it took critical turn in 1987 Assembly elections when injustice was done with a section of political people.
He also announced that his party will also contest the Assembly elections in the State appealed the people of Kathua to support him and join his party as they have a visionary plan and agenda to develop the Kathua on modern lines.
