SRINAGAR: A Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant was arrested by security forces in this south Kashmir district on Thursday afternoon, official sources said.
They said on a tip-off Army, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF in a joint operation arrested a HM militant Rameez Ahmad Dar at Bijbehara, Anantnag Thursday.
They said some arms and ammunition were also recovered from Dar who was active and was involved in several militancy related incidents since 2014, they added. (AGENCIES)
