JAMMU, Nov 25: A deputation from Hiranagar area of district Kathua called on the Minister for Transport, Abdul Gani Kohli here today and apprised him of the problems confronting the people of the area.
The deputation members informed the Minister about the shortage of rations in the area. They also brought into the notice of the Minister the issues of erratic power supply, need for construction of school buildings, improvement in basic amenities, upgradation of healthcare facilities and augmentation of water supply schemes in the area.
The Minister heard the deputations patiently and assured them that their genuine demands would be redressed on priority.
