JAMMU, Apr 23: Hindi Short Story Book entitled ‘Baat Bolegi’ of Sunil Mangotra, a resesrch scholar of the Department of Hindi, University of Jammu was released by Prof Narinder Mohan, a critic, poet and playwright from Delhi, here today.
The function was organized jointly by the Department of Hindi and Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh, Jammu.
Dr Vandana, a teacher of the Department and vandana Sharma, A research scholar presented research papers on the book.
Vandan termed the short stories as the stories depicting current problems and bad customs of the society, while Vandana Sharma maintained the short stories have been written in poetic language which depicts experience of the writer and bitter realities of the contemporary society.
Rajni of Hindi Department presented her short story based on idealism.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Narinder said that in changed situation, these short stories mind us with society.
Dr parvinder Kour, HoD Hindi and Sheikh Mohd Kalyan, president of Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh also spoke on the occasion.
