JAMMU, Apr 12: BJP State president, Ravinder Raina today said that the massive turnout in all the regions, revealed about the faith which public has developed in the democratic process by relentless efforts of PM, Narendra Modi. He congratulated the people of the State for high voting turnout in the Jammu-Poonch and Baramulla-Kupwara Parliament seats in the first phase.

Ravinder Raina while addressing a press conference along with former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta and State incharge, BJP Library & Documentation, Kulbhushan Mohtra complimented the public of the State for their massive turnout in the phase first of general elections yesterday which is a defeat to separatists and secessionists.
Voting of over 70 % symbolizes the energy level of voters to strengthen democracy in the country. Voters of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu East, Jammu West, RS Pura, Suchetgarh, Bishnah, Vijaypur, Samba, Raipur Domana, Nagrota, Marh, Akhnoor, Nowshera, Kalakote, Sunderbani, Mendhar, Darhal, Rajouri, Surankote, Poonch, Kupwara, Lolab, Handwara, Karnah, Uri, Gurej, Baramulla, Gulmarg and all other areas are to be congratulated for their efforts in strengthening the democratic process, Raina said.
He said that by voting, people have rejected bullet and selected ballot. They have braved boycott and threat calls and we salute the public of J&K for contributing in the process of democracy.
With high voting turnout, public showed their desire for peace, prosperity and progress in the State. On April 18, Udhampur-Doda seat will also witness a huge turnout, Raina claimed.
Raina also disclosed that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will address a massive rally at Kathua on April 14.
He also informed that the Narendra Modi will spare valuable time out of his hectic election schedule to address a public rally at Kathua on party request. Modi will address a massively attended public rally on April 14, morning at 10 am at Kathua Stadium. Around two lakh people from Kathua, Hiranagar, Bani, Billawar, Basohli, Ramnagar and all the surrounding areas will throng the venue to listen to the speech of their beloved leader Narendra Modi.
Raina said that led by the example of hard working of Prime Minister and Dr Jitendra Singh Union MoS in PMO supported by our dedicated MLAs have done many developmental works and the voters of Udhampur-Doda Parliament constituency will vote enmass for Dr Jitendra Singh on April 18.
