JAMMU, June 6: Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi conducted a free heart check-up camp at Panch Mandir Channi.
The camp was led by Dr Swati Mahajan (MD, DM Cardiology), Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. During the camp, over 100 patients were screened for various heart-related and other ailments.
As part of the initiative, patients were provided free medical consultation, along with ECG, Blood Sugar testing, Blood Pressure check-ups and free medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Swati Mahajan emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and early diagnosis in reducing the burden of heart disease.
Office bearers of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) including Ashok Khajuria (president), Rakesh Sharma (secretary), Vivek Mahajan, Hridya Chander Vaid and seva prabandhak Neelam Sharma were present in the camp.
